ABOUT US!
We started photographing horses in about 1987, and gradually realised that we could make quite a good job of it! Since then, the amount of shows we cover has increased and we travel quite extensively over the South East, and further afield for specialist breed events. We are very biased towards Arabian Horses, choosing one for our logo, and you will find many on our site!
I myself (Barbara) have loved horses all my life, and have ridden since I was seven. My husband Les is the iron horse expert, but we both happily learned about each others interests, and how to photograph each of them. Les gets upset when I take better steam photographs, and likewise, I get annoyed when Les takes better horses! I have my very own horse now as well - Michika is an ex-racehorse, and although she is now 19 years old, she does not act her age at all - give her her head and she will still gallop quite happily.
Les took early retirement from his full time commitment as a teacher, which meant more time available for the things that he really enjoys. Writing articles for steam railway magazines, books, and even occasionally tidying up in the house and garden!
Our beautiful daughter Rebecca also has a love of horses, and has helped with the business a great deal in the past. She is now happily married to Craig.
Our wonderful German Shepherd dog Mozart left us in May 2006, and his placed was taken by a six week old puppy, cross between a GSD and a labrador. We continued the musical theme and called him Tallis. He is a gregarious, hyperactive little chap, who is a complete comedian!
